Paul Solum Memorial Fund
Paul Edward Solum was a man of great character who loved the Lord and possessed immense compassion for the less fortunate and under privileged. Along with his love for God, he was a great steward of Minnesota’s canoe country. During his life, he cherished time spent with his family and friends in his cedar strip canoe and took any opportunity to share similar experiences with others.
Unfortunately, Paul’s life was cut short by Multiple Sclerosis at the age of 57. Therefore, on behalf of the Solum Family, in conjunction with Adventurous Christians/Covenant Wilderness Center (AC/CWC) of Grand Marais, MN, we want to announce the establishment of the Paul E. Solum Memorial Scholarship. We find the philosophy and mission of AC/CWC worthwhile and important and is situated in an environment fitting to Paul’s life and legacy.
Portage Partners
Portage Partners is a camp improvement appeal that goes out three times per year. Friends of AC have the privilege to learn about camp improvements and the opportunity to give toward these upgrades. Portage Partners’ appeals typically go towards facility or programming improvements of camp.
If you wish to be a part of Portage Partners, contact AC and request to be put on the Portage Partners’ mailing list.
